On 17.12.2020, 3D Mapping Solutions was on the road in Griesheim with a measurement vehicle to conduct measurements of both the August Euler airfield and public streets in the Griesheim residential area using high-precision environmental sensor technology.

The announcement for the professorship Automotive Engineering, which is to be filled for the winter semester 2021/22, is now online. Topics include highly automated and autonomous driving, linked to related aspects like sensor/actuator systems, system integration, application of intelligent networked systems, as well as proof and validation of safety critical functions. Update regarding SARS-CoV-2

Due to the current pandemic spread of SARS-CoV-2 the Tutorial Automotive Engineering will not take place at the scheduled time slot as it was announced before, because the risk of infection for the students is too high during the driving experiments with up to 4 students driving in one vehicle.

In the period from 26.05. to 28.07.2020 the tutorial Automotive Engineering takes place again.
