After 20 years leading the Institute of Automotive Engineering Darmstadt (FZD), Prof. Dr. rer. nat Hermann Winner bids farewell and steps on to take his well-deserved retirement.

Since 2010 there has been a lively student exchange program between the FZD and the School of Automotive Studies at Tongji University Shanghai.

The registration for the automotive engineering tutorial is now open.

Update regarding SARS-CoV-2

Due to the current pandemic spread of SARS-CoV-2 the Tutorial Automotive Engineering will not take place at the scheduled time slot as it was announced before, because the risk of infection for the students is too high during the driving experiments with up to 4 students driving in one vehicle.

In the period from 26.05. to 28.07.2020 the tutorial Automotive Engineering takes place again.
