Within the project IKaS (Intelligenter Kreuzungsassistent für Straßenbahnen – Smart crossing assistant for trams) we focus on AI-based assistance systems for tram drivers to avoid collisions with crossing vehicles. The project is funded by Hessisches Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Energie, Verkehr und Wohnen within HOLM Innovationsförderung.
