CONTROL

Autonomous systems in transportation must be able to respond safely to a wide range of possible scenarios in open, dynamic environments, including rare and unpredictable events. Existing methods fail to perform reliably in complex and less predictable operational areas. The CONTROL research project addresses this challenge across the automotive, commercial vehicle, and rail sectors with 24 Partners. CONTROL stands in a long tradition starting with Pegasus Project and was initiated and developed by the VDA Leitinitiative autonomous and connected driving. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. FZD focus on adapting the sensor fusion strategy during runtime which is enabled by modern SDV architectures.
