NEW – starting SoSe 25. This lecture covers the emerging field of automotive software and electronics aiming for the software defined vehicle. It is presented jointly by Prof. Dr.-Ing. S. Peters (FZD) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. K. Hofmann (IES).

  • Development processes in the automotive industry (e.g. Agile, SAFe, ASPICE), norms and standards (e.g. ISO 26262)
  • EE architecture, functional architecture, SW architecture and electronic control unit architecture (e.g. AUTOSAR)
  • Fundamentals of semiconductor technology and integrated circuits
  • Chip architectures, design methods, manufacturing technologies and role allocation in the semiconductor industry
  • Development trends against the background of AI, energy efficiency and open hardware
  • SDV in Practice (Guest: Dr.-Ing. Lea Schwarz, Audi AG)
  • Cyber Security in Automotive (Guest: Prof. Dr. Christoph Krauß, INCYDE GmbH)
