Final event of VIVID

2023/11/15

FZD is pleased to share our recent participation in the final event of the VIVID research project, hosted in Japan alongside our valued Japanese partners. The German project Virtual Validation Toolchain for Automated and Connected Driving (VIVALDI) collaborated with the Japanese counterpart Driving Intelligence Validation Platform (DIVP) over the course of the last three years.

During this time, both projects involved in the cooperation developed and validated high fidelity sensor models for different modalities. We hope that these sensor models provide a basis to validate automated driving functions such as perception modules.

During the final event, all parties shared insights and engaged in lively topical discussions as well as discussions centering on the continuation of joint research collaborations. This collaborative effort has provided valuable insights, reinforcing our commitment to ongoing advancements in automotive engineering and technology.
