Felix Koch has received the Odenwald-Akademie Preis 2025. His thesis, “Langlebigkeit und Reparierbarkeit von Vorderachsen bei Pkw” (Longevity and Repairability of Front Axles for a Passenger Car), evaluates existing front axle designs in passenger cars, develops new front axle concepts, and makes a valuable contribution to sustainability in engineering. It stands out for its strictly methodical and highly creative approach to finding solutions, demonstrating technical excellence and a remarkable level of scientific independence. The thesis was conducted as part of the research project DaCCCar – Darmstadt Circular Changeable Car and was supervised by Jörn Hasenkrug.
