At the Institute of Automotive Engineering (FZD), we have a track record in research in the fields of safe automated driving and our research contributes directly to this future technology in close collaboration with leading industrial partners. We are constantly looking for research associates who share our passion – be it in the field of safe AI in technically highly complex products such as cars & trucks or in their driving dynamics or in the design of fascinating sustainable premium vehicles. As usual, our positions are initially limited to three years and full E13 positions. You will determine the scope of mobile working (0-5 days per week) on your own responsibility. Im Rahmen des DFG-geförderten Forschungsprojekts MiRoVA (Migration of Road Vehicle Automation) untersucht das FZD, wie nicht-automatisierte Verkehrsteilnehmende mit automatisierten Fahrzeugen interagieren. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf den Veränderungen von Interaktionsmustern im Zuge der schrittweisen Transformation des Verkehrs, hin zu einem überwiegend automatisierten System. Zur Untersuchung nutzen wir experimentelle Umgebungen in der Virtuellen Realität sowie im Fahrsimulator.
